I found that there was no link to this article in the Spain article. Perhaps this should be changed.

I have deleted two things about Basque Country in the article:

1. "although it is an autonomous community inside Spain", what is the point here? Is an autonomous comunity like the others. 2. "The Basque Country coast is marvelous." Marvelous like hundreds place in the other communities, i don't understand the favouritism here.

Murcia tourism

Spain is important for Jewish culture and history. Once the home of the jews when more than 40 percent of the population was jewish, Spain continues to attract people worldwide with interests in Spains Jewish Past and present. cities like Toledo Granada Madrid Barcelona and Murcia [1] attract tourists of all faiths raquel samper jewish community spain comunidad judia murcia this page relates to tourism not cristianity. If people tour here to enjoy the cristian festivals ,building then its RELEVENT. However murcia as well attracts tourism from israel every year . jews come to see the rambla del judio ,old synagogues, and many calles named after jews. Arab tourism as well is big in murcia with ruins under our city.

Holiest places in the world?

Are the 3rd, 4th and 5th holiest places in the world for Christians and Jews really in Spain? Are these places more holy to Christians than say Bethlehem, Mount Sinai, and the River Jordan and many other places in the bible? Are they more holy to Jews than Jerusalem, Hebron, Tiberias and Safed? Martin451 (talk) 13:42, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

That is not what was stated in the article, but it was a bit confusing, I agree. I have corrected the sentence about the holy places, they are for the Catholic Church, not for Judaism as it looked like in the former text. David (talk) 14:07, 13 October 2009 (UTC)

Murcia is number 3

Your facts here are based on armchair thinking .Im a murciano born and raised.I know quite alot about murcia as i work as a lawyer in the consejeria de cultura.First,we are number 3 in all spain for language tourism.Our university of murcia attracts many people worldwide to come here to study spanish.We speak english here too but not like in madrid or salamanca where on every corner the spanish student bumps into a fellow american. We are in the top five in all spain for general tourism as we have better weather transport priced hotels than many other cities.We say "next time youre in madrid since youre very close,why not take a few days off and visit spain?"In cnn mtv and tbs we are "More & More Murcia",a very successful campaign.We have the top rated spas in archena mula and fortuna according to michelin guide. Finally and not official,Paramount Park has chosen murcia for its new park which will be the largest amusement park in all spain and second only to disneyparis in europe.Paramount chose murcia not to increase our tourism but because we already have big tourism and paramount wants to take advantage.Murcia will continue to clearly market itself in wikipedia according to your rules.too many people just google to find out about holiday possibilities and wikipedia shows up first so weve got to talk straight here and be here according to your rules.We say the truth the whole truth and nothing but the truth about our city of murcia.rsamper —Preceding unsigned comment added by 79.148.97.68 (talk) 07:13, 18 September 2010 (UTC)
