User talk:Esparkhu
Hello, and welcome to Wikipedia!
I've just noticed that some of your edits bear a strong resemblance to content at the Chicago Center for Jewish Genetic Disorders. Unfortunately, we cannot accept copyrighted contributions without the agreement of the copyright owner. Our copyright policy insists that all contributions should be released under the GNU Free Documentation License (see Wikipedia:Copyrights for details).
Now, if you are the copyright owner, or their authorized representative, you are most welcome to post your content here. If you are not, unfortunately, we either need you to get their permission to post this content here, or we will have to regretfully decline to accept these articles.
I hope this is useful -- if you need any help, just edit my talk page, or click on Wikipedia:Help for more information. -- Karada 19:09, 26 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Genetics
[edit]Hi Esparkhu, you seem to be into genetics! Could you please find a nicer version of Image:autorecessive.jpg? This is rather grainy now. Also, I would recommend placing it on the right and providing a text description: [[Image:Autorecessive.jpg|right|Principles of autosomal recessive inheritance]]. It's just for style considerations....
- Along a similar theme, would you please also provide copyright information for the image Image:Dominant.gif, which you uploaded on 26 Nov 2004? Many thanks! -- ClockworkSoul 21:58, 15 Dec 2004 (UTC)
Are you a clinical geneticist? I may have a couple of questions for you, given that I'm fairly interested in monogenic disorders. I also wrote Dor Yeshorim, which should be of your interest :-) JFW | T@lk 21:02, 29 Nov 2004 (UTC)
Images
[edit]You've uploaded some images without a copyright tag. It is impossible to know if the Greenwood Genetic Center grants Wikipedia (or anyone else) permission to use them! Could you please find this out? It would be a shame if these nice diagrams had to be removed :-) JFW | T@lk 23:56, 29 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Thanks for the additions to Turner syndrome
[edit]However, two requests. Please don't tag text additions as "minor" edits-- this is just a matter of local custom. Reserve the minor tag for something as small as a spelling correction or fixing a link. Second, do you have copyright for the image. It would be great to keep, but is it truly public domain? Thanks. We can use some more genetic help. alteripse 00:18, 30 Dec 2004 (UTC)

Image Tagging Image:Klinefelter.jpg
[edit]This image may be deleted.

Thanks for uploading Image:Klinefelter.jpg. I notice the image page currently doesn't specify who created the image, so the copyright status is therefore unclear. If you have not created the image yourself then you need to argue that we have the right to use the image on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you have not created the image yourself then you should also specify where you found it, i.e., in most cases link to the website where you got it, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the image also doesn't have a copyright tag then you must also add one. If you created/took the picture then you can use {{GFDL}} to release it under the GFDL. If you can claim fair use use {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or {{fairuse}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other images, please check that you have specified their source and copyright tagged them, too. You can find a list of image pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that any unsourced and untagged images will be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you.--May the Force be with you! Genetics of melanoma
[edit]Hi,
would you like to take part in collaboration on the melanoma article ? It would be great if parts of the article about genetic factors of familial and non-familial melanoma could be a little expanded and improved.
Regards,
