Please consider this as a matter of urgency. Your efforts are still in very real danger of deletion, even in the user namespace, and you risk alienating some potentially very supportive people as well.
Have a good read of What Wikipedia is not. Some extracts:
- A personal homepage and/or file storage area. Wikipedians have their own personal pages, but they are used for working on the encyclopedia...
- Personal essays that state your idiosyncratic opinions about a topic. Wikipedia is supposed to compile human knowledge, not serve as a vehicle for personal opinions to become part of human knowledge...
- Propaganda or advocacy of any kind...
- Discussion forums...
Food for thought? I love the project. It's just that this probably isn't the place for it. The Wikimedia software is open source if you want to use it on your own site.
On the other hand, I hope you might find the Wikipedia project itself equally exciting (or even more so). Have a long browse, that's always advisable when joining a new cybercommunity, and keep in touch. Andrewa 16:31, 27 Mar 2004 (UTC)
- As you have not seen fit to respond to the above notes while more than a week has passed, your user subpages are about to be deleted for the reasons given above. Please copy any content you wish to keep to your own storage immediately. Mkweise 12:42, 9 Apr 2004 (UTC)
