Orphaned non-free media (Image:Poets of the Fall.jpg)
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Poets of the Fall.jpg. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).
If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BetacommandBot 07:38, 13 September 2007 (UTC)
Updated (Image:CadleFlagEarth.svg)
[edit]This is a great image of Image:CadleFlagEarth.svg, and thank you for posting it! I just wanted to let you know that Mr. Cadle's first name was James and not John. I updated the descriptions to include this information, so I hope that you don't mind. Thanks! 65.31.31.198 (talk) 00:11, 3 February 2008 (UTC)
Windows Vista Upgrade Paths (svg)
[edit]Thank you for uploading an SVG version of the Windows Vista Upgrade Paths image that I originally uploaded as a PNG to commons. However, when you resize this SVG version down to thumbnail sizes, it is very pixelated and clearly not better than the PNG version. The SVG version needs to be of much higher quality before it can be used. Please consider uploading a new version of the diagraph. Thanks. ---Majestic- (talk) 06:41, 14 May 2008 (UTC)
File:Mosmetro2009.svg
[edit]Ah, crap... I was working on an svg version of that myself. Great work, although I think there are still some improvements that could be made to it that I might add. Lexicon (talk) 05:11, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
- Oops, sorry. Feel free to modify the file; I did my best to make it maintainable. I think there's a transliteration error somewhere as well, so if you find it, please correct it. ;-) WhiteTimberwolf (talk) 12:49, 5 April 2010 (UTC)
2010-09 File:IntelProcessorRoadmap.svg
[edit]Hello. There are several errors in File:IntelProcessorRoadmap.svg that you edited two time:
- Banias is a chip, not a microarchitecture.
- Banias/Dothan/Yonah's microarchitecture is P6, not P6M.
- Penryn is a chip, not a microarchitecture.
- Silverthorne is followed by Lincroft, not Pine View.
- Diamondville is followed by Pineview, not Pine View.
- Moorestown is a platform (using Lincroft), not a chip, so it should be deleted from the diagram. You could then move Atom back in the main chart.
And you may:
- delete Dothan533.
- add Tualatin, a 130 nm chip which precede Banias.
- add Coppermine, a 180 nm chip which precede Tualatin.
- add Cedarview, a 32 nm chip which will follow to Pineview.
- add a space before each "nm" in the bottom of the diagram.

- Hi, modified as per your suggestions. Is it correct now? ~~WhiteTimberwolf (talk) 12:56, 8 September 2010 (UTC)
- Yes, thank you very much. Visite fortuitement prolongée (talk) 21:28, 8 September 2010 (UTC)

Atom chips down to 14nm on File:IntelProcessorRoadmap-3.svg
[edit]This is a good graphic. I think there are some more Atom processors stages (as shown in the 2nd slide here [1]) you can add. Note only one per process shrink down to 14nm. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.110.136.123 (talk) 23:19, 14 August 2011 (UTC)

mistake in File:Dihybrid cross.svg
[edit]Hello White Timberwolf, a reader in the German Wikipedia pointed out that there is a little mistake in that image and I am afraid s/he is right. In the F1-Generation, the two cats on the left side both derive from the same germ cells and the two on the right also derive from the same germ cells. Instead, the 2nd cat should derive from the right Sb egg and the right sB sperm etc. Unfortunaltely I don't speak svg. Do you feel like fixing it yourself? Regards, --Dietzel65 (talk) 11:43, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- I am afraid you are right -- it wouldn't make much sense to have two equal pairings. In my defense, the original PNG version also contained this error. I have now updated the SVG version. Thanks for the heads-up! Cheers, ~~WhiteTimberwolf (talk) 12:05, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
- Now that was quick. Great! Thanks, --Dietzel65 (talk) 15:18, 14 November 2013 (UTC)
