[edit]All tracks recorded June 1970, except for † recorded March 1970 and recorded late 1969.
First off, I see no uses of the † in the track listing, nor does the "recorded March 1970 and recorded late 1969" comment make any sense. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 74.215.26.196 (talk) 06:34, 6 October 2020 (UTC)

Release date
[edit]The article had the release date as July 16, citing the 1991 CD booklet. However, the album appeared on Billboard's Top Albums the week of July 25. I've been looking at dozens of album release dates and comparing them to Billboard chart debuts, and 9 days apart just doesn't happen; particularly since that Billboard issue was on sale July 18. To give one example with a well-documented release date, LET IT BE was released May 8 and appeared on the chart in the May 30 issue. Three weeks is typical for the most popular artists; less well known ones are further apart. So I went to see if I could find a contemporary source that would give a true release date. And found it. Cash Box July 18, 1970, page 42, states that Cosmo's Factory was released July 8. PatConolly (talk) 09:11, 6 March 2021 (UTC)
