Hi Devouryenz, welcome to Wikipedia!
Could you provide the exact URL that you got Image:Elliottsmith.jpg from? Also, are you sure the image isn't copyrighted? If it is, it'll probably have to be deleted. (Which would be a shame. I'm a fan, and having a picture really helps the article.) Dbenbenn 03:22, 14 Jan 2005 (UTC)
The easiest way to respond is to write a comment at my own talk page. Anyway, I found the image at sweetadeline.net. If you're willing, it would make sense to email them, to ask permission to use the photo. dbenbenn | talk 22:56, 17 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Hi, could you please explain why commons:Image:Furlong10.jpg is in the Public Domain on the Image description page? I have serius doubts about that. -83.129.74.27 02:04, 19 Jan 2005 (UTC)
Hi Devouryenz. A magazine cover scan is "fair use"—you should use {{Magazinecover}}. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for more information. Note that this kind of image can't go at the Commons, although it's perfectly legitimate here. dbenbenn | talk 03:05, 20 Jan 2005 (UTC)
