I've been trying to track this guy down for some time. Everone has heard of the Colpitts oscillator, but little is mentioned about it's namesake.—The preceding unsigned comment was added by Msiddalingaiah (talk • contribs) .
I wonder if this is the same Edwin H. Colpitts who lived in Boston in 1905. The Boston City Directory [1] for that year lists
Colpitts Edwin H elec engineer 125 Milk h at Winthrop.
He doesn't show up in the 1925 listings.--Srleffler03:54, 7 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
