User talk:E70~enwiki
Hello. I know you've already reverted changes to Scanian language twice already without motivating. This is not Swedish Wikipedia. Please motivate your reverts on the talk page. Peter Isotalo 09:58, May 4, 2005 (UTC)
Reverting RfC-summary
[edit]May I ask why you reverted [1] my own edit of the RfC that I filed concerning the behaviour of Johan Magnus, Ruhrjung and Tuomas? I rephrased it after being hinted of the description being far too POV:ed (from my perspective). Changing it back to the less neutral version doesn't seem to make much sense. Maybe you had something else in mind. If so, please motivate yourself. Peter Isotalo 22:08, May 4, 2005 (UTC)
I filed a VfD for motorväg due to it being merely a Swedish translation of the English term motorway. Follow the provided link for further motivation.

I undid your merge of the two articles; see Talk:Autobahn. « alerante ✆ ✉ » 15:01:15, 2005-08-19 (UTC)
Don't be a prick, a.k.a. "Don't disrupt Wikipedia to illustrate a point"
[edit]I don't know what the cabal over at sv.wiki thinks about WP:POINT, but I would prefer that you follow the guidelines as long as you are editing the English Wikipedia. -- Elisson • Talk 22:05, 19 August 2005 (UTC)
- The problem is Peter Isotalo who only wants to destroy my works. We had a lot of problems with him at Swedish Wikipedia. Now he destroys my works here like a "revenge". He dont know anything obout roads but he changes the articles with arguments who are not good. /E70 10:04, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
- E70, I admit I am still very, very upset about your uncivil behavior towards me at Swedish Wikipedia, and I'm still expecting a sincere and unconditional apology from you before I forgive you for it, but I am not doing this to piss you off here. I enjoy English Wikipedia and I'm not about to piss off my fellow contributors here by targeting you; people tend to recognize these things when they see them. I'm simply trying to explain that some of your contributions are not prudent. You're simply misunderstanding or perhaps even ignoring our policies. Please take more time to read the proper documents and show more civility towards fellow Wikipedians. At Swedish Wikipedia, no one really cares about this and as long as one is stubborn and devoted enough and have enough stubborn and devoted allies, one can impose one's will without regard to even the most basic of policy and even keep the mop and bucket while doing it. This is not the case here. Users here consider both etiquette and guidelines to be very important and frown on those who flaunt acceptable standards of behavior, no matter their competence. You're only making this worse for yourself by fighting it.

- Mr Isotalo, I had not forgotten what you did to me at Swedish Wikipedia. I am still upset what you did to me. I had vever seen someone who wre so vere arrogant in Swedish Wikipedia like you. I am not the only one ther who are upset what you did there. It is you who should give me an because what you did to me. You said bad thing to me and about me there. Now you only vandalise articles for me and giving me a lot of extra job here only because you are destroing articles. I want apology from you before I forgive you for it. And if I want some help, I dont asking you about it. /E70 10:37, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
- No, E70, the problem here, as I see it, is you. Peter has IMO not been starting any trouble at the English wikipedia at all. He is one of the contributors I know of that behave (even if he gets a little upset sometimes), keeps articles NPOV, and generally folow rules and guidelines. The same can't be said about you. Your moves of articles broke the WP:POINT policy by great margin. I would like more contributors to Swedish-related articles, but I want them to follow the guidelines too. -- Elisson • Talk 15:55, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
Major rewrites
[edit]You should really try to get consensus from other editors at the appropriate talkpages before making such a major rehaul of so many articles. People don't know who you are here and they are not familiar with the discussion or the VfD concerning motorväg nor the definition of the Swedish term. Basically, you're running a big risk of being auto-reverted.
Peter Isotalo 12:20, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
- I dont want to hear more things from you now Isotalo. Stop targeting me! You have done that at Swedish Wikipedia and now you are doing it here. Please dont give me more of your comments. /E70 12:23, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
I have no knowledge of what may or may not be happening on the Swedish wikipedia, nor of the people involved, but making a drastic and major move as you did earlier today is *wrong* and anti-wiki. Could I draw your attention to the first para of Wikipedia:Requested_moves: the proposed move may be controversial, or technical expertise may be needed to merge edit histories. The move should usually be discussed on the talk pages of any relevant articles first, particularly where a page move may be controversial. May I suggest that you acquaint yourself better with the various policies we have on WP for making things run smoothly in order to maintain the consensus about how we work together. --Vamp:Willow 13:36, 20 August 2005 (UTC)
Help with Translation!?
[edit]Can you help translate this for me to swedish? Many thanks in advance!
For a small country, Albania is endowed with considerable resources. The southwestern part of the country is rich in petroleum and natural gas. The northeastern region has substantial reserves of metallic mineral deposits, including chromium, copper, and iron-nickel. Large deposits of lignite (soft coal) are found near Tiranë, and natural asphalt is mined near Selenicë.
Albania is also rich in rivers and streams with significant hydroelectric potential. These have been exploited quite effectively, making the country an energy exporter. A number of huge hydroelectric power plants have been built, mainly on the Drin River, and more than half of the country's arable land is irrigated, largely from the artificial reservoirs created upstream of the dams.

Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called E70. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name E70~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell

Roads in Autostrada of Italy listed at Redirects for discussion
[edit]An editor has asked for a discussion to address the redirect Roads in Autostrada of Italy. Since you had some involvement with the Roads in Autostrada of Italy redirect, you might want to participate in the redirect discussion if you have not already done so.
