The result of the debate was delete. —Xezbeth 06:58, May 25, 2005 (UTC)
- Strong Delete. This article seems to be a dictionary definition of a "condition" acknowledged neither by the medical community nor by popular culture. Saying that such "addicts" "may consume other forms of refined sugar" is just plain silly -- few people don't consume any refined sugar, worldwide. I see no potential for this truly flawed article to develop into something encyclopaedic. --Zantastik 15:32, 8 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
So? I consume no refined sugar ...
Strong Keep. There needs to be more awareness for sugar addiction in America, and sodas are becomming the leading choice for sugar addicts.
- Unsigned vote by the anonymous user who wrote the article, who has attempted to vote three times. Anon votes don't count, anyway, so safe to strike. --Kiand 23:33, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
- Delete. Original research. Wikipedia is not the proper avenue for one to "raise awareness." Consider starting your own webpage, or creating a username and doing so on your userpage. - Jersyko 16:41, May 13, 2005 (UTC)
- Delete. Anon-user is health obsessed... Kiand 18:51, 19 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Week Keep I believe soda addiction is real because I have a number of friends who appear to suffer from it. If you are or were a soda addict or know someone who is, please post to this page to let us know!
- Anonymous user vote, so not countable. 99.5% chance of it being the author of this article, has created similar articles. Strikable.Kiand 18:05, 23 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]
