66.167.139.30 00:52, 19 Sep 2004 (UTC): With a name like "Michael Brown" he is hard to get authoritative information which can be corroborated across sources. Corroboration for some of the facts in the current article can be found in http://www.queensmuseum.org/education/seeingeye.htm; it's not cited as a source in the article because its content is probably transient. Here's a copy of a section from that page take 18 Sept 2004 which provides some proof that many of the things mentioned in this article do refer to the same Michael Brown:
DuPont’s Wonderful World of Chemistry A talk by Michael Brown accompanied by filmed performance from the Fair Saturday, October 9, 2004 at 3:30 PM
For the New York World's Fair, Michael Brown created DuPont's trail-blazing Wonderful World of Chemistry, a combination of singers and dancers working interchangeably with live-sized actors on film that will probably never be duplicated. The production demonstrated many of DuPont's innovative products through songs, costumes, narration, and chemical demonstrations. Presented simultaneously in two back-to-back theatres, it ran for 17,224 performances for 5,256,126 visitors. Mr. Brown will speak of how the presentation came about and how it worked. His talk will be followed by an archival film of the show.
Michael Brown is a composer, lyricist, producer, writer, director and performer. Born in Texas, his introduction to show business came at the legendary New York cabaret, Le Ruban Bleu, and subsequent work on Broadway included New Faces, "Lizzie Borden", Pearl Bailey’s "Indoor Girl" in House of Flowers and the score for the English musical Is There Intelligent Life on Earth?, a production number for the Carol Channing company of Sugar Babies, and Different Times. With his one-man show Out of Step, he was described in the press as "one of the most gifted artists in America", and his children's books about Santa Mouse have sold more than 3,000,000 copies.
Harper Lee
[edit]It seems to me that lending a huge sum of money to Harper Lee is the most noteworthy thing he did. Shouldn't that be in the lead? 104.231.71.208 (talk) 06:10, 21 February 2016 (UTC)
