Anyone from Hampden willing to get (or already have) a picture for the cool christmas lights set up they have here? I like away from Baltimore now so I can't really... gren 05:24, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

"However, like most of Baltimore, Hampden declined somewhat during the economic troubles of the 1980s-90s."Charles Village certainly did not,nor did the more affluent areas. However I was around Hampden and saw it decay rather drastically.Mikoyangurevich15 (talk) 00:24, 2 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I've removed this: "Local bar Frazier's on the Avenue is a fan favorite, as well." That is a biased statement and not verifiable.Multibore (talk) 13:26, 6 September 2009 (UTC)[reply]

SoHa?

[edit]

Can anyone provide any sort of reference that the southern tip of the triangle of Hampden is called "SoHa"? I live in Baltimore City and I've never heard anyone use this phrase; it's certainly not in use in any official capacity. The link on this page goes to an unrelated neighborhood in New York. -Jfruh (talk) 15:37, 22 December 2009 (UTC)[reply]

I've lived in Baltimore for 30 years (about 3 in Hampden) and I've never heard anyone say SoHa. BomTrown (talk) 21:03, 4 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Fraziers on the Avenue

[edit]

Can someone explain the slo-mo edit war in which this bar keeps getting deleted and then added back into the large, unweildy list of Avenue establishments? I mean, I'm sort of against having huge lists like this in general, but if the article's going to have one, surely Fraziers belongs in it. --Jfruh (talk) 18:14, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I dislike the large list as well. Personally, I would remove them all rather than have it get to this size. The article may emphasize a vibrant commercial area that has numerous restaurants etc. without giving examples. GcSwRhIc (talk) 18:25, 8 July 2010 (UTC)[reply]
