Images and such
[edit]Welcome to Wikipedia! (Are you the same person who was adding information to Kenyon College anonymously? If so, I'm glad that you have chosen to register! And if not, hey, I'm still glad that you have chosen to register.)
I noticed that you have uploaded a couple of Kenyon-related images, but you haven't included any copyright information. It's important that whenever an image is uploaded, some sort of notification of its copyright status is included. See Wikipedia:Image use policy and Wikipedia:Copyrights#Image_guidelines.
The shield is probably fair use (but I haven't looked into that). Some other school articles include symbols that claim to be fair use. See Image:BrandeisUnivSeal.gif, Image:CaltechLogo.png, Image:CarnegieMellonSeal.gif, etc. Actually, an even better idea would be to make your own image. (Hey, I might do that sometime if you don't.)
The photo of Ascension Hall is fine if it's your photo (in which case you should say so), but if it isn't, it probably is copyright to someone else. Depending on what you intend to use it for, perhaps it could be substituted for a photo that was taken by you.
(By the way, I am delighted to see someone working on this material. If you have any questions or need help figuring out how this Wikipedia thing is supposed to work, contact me on my talk page and I'll be happy to lend a hand.)

Unspecified source for Image:Shield.jpg
[edit]Thanks for uploading Image:Shield.jpg. I notice the file's description page currently doesn't specify who created the content, so the copyright status is unclear. If you have not created this file yourself, then there needs to be a justification explaining why we have the right to use it on Wikipedia (see copyright tagging below). If you did not create the file yourself, then you need to specify where it was found, i.e., in most cases link to the website where it was taken from, and the terms of use for content from that page.
If the file also doesn't have a copyright tag, then one should be added. If you created/took the picture, audio, or video then the {{GFDL-self}} tag can be used to release it under the GFDL. If you believe the media meets the criteria at Wikipedia:Fair use, use a tag such as {{Non-free fair use in|article name}} or one of the other tags listed at Wikipedia:Image copyright tags#Fair_use. See Wikipedia:Image copyright tags for the full list of copyright tags that you can use.
If you have uploaded other files, consider checking that you have specified their source and tagged them, too. You can find a list of files you have uploaded by following this link. Unsourced and untagged images may be deleted one week after they have been uploaded, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you. Hroðulf (or Hrothulf) (Talk) 17:40, 11 November 2006 (UTC)
Your account will be renamed
[edit]Hello,
The developer team at Wikimedia is making some changes to how accounts work, as part of our on-going efforts to provide new and better tools for our users like cross-wiki notifications. These changes will mean you have the same account name everywhere. This will let us give you new features that will help you edit and discuss better, and allow more flexible user permissions for tools. One of the side-effects of this is that user accounts will now have to be unique across all 900 Wikimedia wikis. See the announcement for more information.
Unfortunately, your account clashes with another account also called Afox. To make sure that both of you can use all Wikimedia projects in future, we have reserved the name Afox~enwiki that only you will have. If you like it, you don't have to do anything. If you do not like it, you can pick out a different name. If you think you might own all of the accounts with this name and this message is in error, please visit Special:MergeAccount to check and attach all of your accounts to prevent them from being renamed.
Your account will still work as before, and you will be credited for all your edits made so far, but you will have to use the new account name when you log in.
Sorry for the inconvenience.
Yours,
Keegan Peterzell
