[edit]Just because they are married doesn't mean that they are not gay LOL.
The LGBT data is mostly suspect. True, Dave Koz has done tours with other jazz artists. In 2004, he did a tour with Wayman Tisdale, Rick Braun, and Johnathan Butler. Does that make them gay too? NO - I know that Rick Braun and Wayman Tisdale have wives.
There are very few female artists in the jazz world, and most of them play saxophone. LGBTs have never existed in the jazz world. Andros 1337 23:38, 8 May 2005 (UTC)
- See The Advocate article and read what Dave Koz has to say about that, in his own words. Jonathunder 00:53, 2005 May 9 (UTC)
- This is not idle speculation, he CAME OUT in a magazine interview. Are you disputing Dave Koz's own assertion that he is gay? And while there are relatively few out gay jazz artists, they most certainly did not "never exist". For example; Billy Strayhorn, Cecil Taylor, Fred Hersch, Andy Bey, Gary Burton. - What is meant by a "long affair with his grandmother?" I suspect it's just awkward wording, but for a casual reader (like myself), it gives the appearance of an incestuous suggestion. · Katefan0(scribble) 15:04, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
- Or maybe just vandalism. · Katefan0(scribble) 20:15, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
- It think it was the latter. I've removed that and other untrue info added by the same anon. -Willmcw 20:40, August 26, 2005 (UTC)
- It was very clearly homophobic vandalism. Autiger 22:16, 26 August 2005 (UTC)

[edit]The User:71.255.64.182 deleted the picture of Dave Koz without any explanation. I'm assuming It's a vandal. I have restored the picture. --Folini 07:13, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
Added a preliminary infobox Wuzee (talk) 00:40, 2 January 2008 (UTC)
That picture is not Dave Koz, I believe that's Richard Elliot.
- Regardless, page needs a musicians' infobox and I'm uploading a better photo. Sweet-I'm a member of the LGBT crew, the biography crew, and musicians crew on WP! --leahtwosaints (talk) 04:10, 22 March 2009 (UTC)
