USS Reuben James (DD-245)

I thought the Reuben James was the first US boat sunk in WWII, otherwise what is Joan Baez singing about?Ping 08:29 23 May 2003 (UTC)

Year by topic

I have put a general comment on year layout on my talk page, particularly on the way year by topic is dealt with. There are three different variants and I would like agreement to standardise. BozMo (talk)

Unsourced content

An editor is removing all content that I (but seemingly at the moment only I) am adding. So I have removed all other unsourced content, for the purpose of consistency. I would welcome contributions, to establish a consensus on the right policy on such sourcing and will revert what I have removed if the consensus agrees that this is appropriate.
