[edit]I have seen a picture of this Triumph in dry-dock, with her bows blown-off upto and past some of the bow-caps, after hitting a mine. The torpedo tubes were all loaded at the time of the explosion, but none of the torpedoes went-off even though some were torn completely in half. In the picture, the remaining tail-half of one torpedo could be clearly seen within one of the tubes, the others having fallen or been blown-out at the time of the explosion.
Seems her luck finally ran out when it came to mines.
